Hello Friends and Family -
We arrived safely, albeit a little tired, in Athens yesterday at 5:40 p.m. We took the metro to our hotel which took about 1 hour. We checked in and then went to enjoy a nice Greek dinner at a taverna (family restaurant) called Ambrosia's. The Porta house (where we will work) is right next to our hotel so we took a quick tour and after a short team meeting and quick outing for ice cream, we all drifted to sleep. This morning we were all grateful for rest.
We were so excited to meet our Albanian partners this morning and everything is off to a great start. We just finished our morning and early afternoon sessions (it is 3:20 in the afternoon) and will soon depart for a visit of the Acropolis museum.
I will try to post or have one of the students post every evening and include some photos but here is one of our team. This was taken on campus during our training week.
